Not only does it teach relevant information on NAPLAN but everything on the Mathletics classroom, reflects the Australian Curriculum, so your child won’t be wasting their time learning concepts that don’t need to be taught at school.
The Mathletics Classroom makes up the majority of the Mathletics website, containing all the content available for your children. Due to the large amount of content on Mathletics, each child’s learning path can be tailored to their own individual needs. So if your child is struggling in a particular area of Mathematics, the teacher is able to set their learning activities for focus on improving that area.
Whereas if your child is a high flyer and finding the work too simple, the teacher can alter their learning path and give them harder work. The program collates all the information on what your child has done and gives both the child and teacher the ability to track their performances. This is really valuable when it comes to the end of the year and your child moves on to another teacher. The new teacher can view your child’s previous performance and design a learning path to continue with their learning, not retesting and starting from the beginning all over again. Mathletics also has content purely designed to help your children prepare for NAPLAN testing in Year 5. The program can teach your children the necessary information to make them ready to sit the tests, resulting in your child being less stressed when it comes time for NAPLAN.
